Our vision for the Tour of Taranaki is to create an event that is iconic to the Taranaki region and inspires people to challenge their personal limits. Our team was inspired by the Around the Mountain Cycle Challenge that was run by Events Taranaki for over 20 years and wanted to ensure that the legendary feat of riding ‘around the mountain’ lived on.

We want people to finish our event and have fun, feel safe and feel valued and inspired. Tour of Taranaki caters for all cyclists from the weekend warrior wanting to go the distance, cyclists looking for a fun day out with friends to the cyclists at the pointy end of the field.
